Medecine. Oops, Politics.
Via Instapundit:
BILL FRIST has started a group
medical blog.
I appreciate the link, which allowed me to determine what was really meant -
"BILL FRIST'S PAC has started a partisan political blog about health
care."
I was confused at first, since I was thinking it was a medical blog (as
in the doctor bloggers who write about the advance of medicine and
medical science, or the life of the medical practitioner; the kind who
submit their articles to Grand Rounds). Then I read the
MedicalMatters.org Mission Statement:
-Our mission is to promote the GOP’s health care policy
priorities and
provide a forum to discuss 21st century medical challenges.
-We will also highlight the failures of the Democrat Party to address
these long-term challenges.
I appreciate the transparency of their partisan position. They also
state candidly on another page that MedicalMatters.org is "a project of
Senator Bill Frist's leadership committee, VOLPAC".
People actually interested in medical blogs might prefer to take a look at the
many blogs that have hosted
Grand Rounds.
(There is now also
Pediatric
Grand Rounds, check it out).
